Meet Mr. West

    Hi, I'm Mr. West. I have been teaching in the Meade School Dist. Since 1997. I teach at Sturgis Elementary in Sturgis, SD. I currently teach health and physical education to students in grades k-4. In the 2002-2003 school year I was selected as the Meade School District "Teacher Of The Year".

    Some of my other duties include: Chair Person for Physical Education and Health on the Meade School District Instructional Council, 8th grade Boy's and 7th grade Girl's Basketball coach, middle school track and a member of the Meade School Dist. Coordinated School Health Team. I am also an active member of the Meade Education Association.

I am happily married to my beautiful wife Laura. We have four wonderful children named Jewel, Derik, Drew and Sierra.
